Reading Interfaith Group

The Building for Strength (BfS) Partnership is seeking to appoint a
half-time worker to deliver its newly announced Big Lottery Funded
Programme. BfS aims to provide support and development through a number of
complementary and interlocking strands, with joint working by the project
partners who are able to approach grassroots engagement from a number of
cultural and faith directions.

The right person will have excellent communication skills, a flexible
community development approach and experience of working with people at all
levels within voluntary and statutory agencies; as well as good IT skills.
In addition to these core skills you will have knowledge of engagement with
harder to reach and minority faith groups.
